With four main divisions, Civil Engineering, Environmental Services, Surveying and Planning and Landscape Architecture, CCA can offer high quality detailed designs and cost benefit analyses for both municipal and industrial clients.
The Civil Engineering Division of CCA uses engineering principals to produce cost effective designs for a wide spectrum of engineering projects. Starting with feasibility studies and preliminary engineering design through final design and construction specification to on-site inspection and construction management services. CCA's expertise includes the following disciplines:
The following subsections briefly describe the types of services that the Civil Engineering Division of CCA offers.
By providing quality services to area clients and appearing before local agencies as professionals for fifteen years, CCA has earned a highly regarded reputation for providing complete and professional plans and documents. CCA's commitment to quality continues today and is evident in products we produce.
CCA has made substantial investments in the purchasing of state of the art computer equipment to assist in the design and drafting of plans. This computer equipment is linked to our surveying equipment through a data collector. This process began almost ten years ago and our personnel operating this equipment are now some of the most experienced available.
CCA's Engineers are familiar with and utilize computerized engineering programs for hydraulic analysis, hydrology, retaining wall design, cost estimating and other tasks. We have prepared numerous plans for a variety of projects including simple driveway crossings, major subdivision and road construction, industrial parks, shopping centers and earth mining operations. Our plans and calculations have been reviewed and approved by numerous agencies including local wetland commissions, the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers.
CCA's plans and calculations are considered to be state of the art and several local wetland commissions have used our erosion control plans and reports as models for other engineers.
The Environmental Services Division of CCA specializes in cost effective resolution of regulatory compliance issues and general environmental quality concerns. In order to address the wide variety of situations that may need to be analyzed at any particular site, CCA offers expertise and support services in the following areas:
The following subsections briefly describe the types of services that the Enviromental Engineering Division of CCA offers.
CCA provides high quality service with the intent of satisfying regulatory requirements at minimum cost. Our special combination of experience, technical knowledge, and management skills are used to achieve regulatory acceptance when agency guidelines are inadequate and negotiations are required. An excellent working relationship has been developed between CCA personnel and regulatory agencies at both the State and Federal level. CCA can provide complete services from start to finish of a project, including work plans, sampling, laboratory analyses, data reduction, treatability studies, soil boring and drilling, conceptual engineering design, engineering plans and specifications, and reports.
The Surveying Division of CCA provides complete surveying services to federal, state, local and private clients. CCA can provide the following types of surveying services:
CCA made a substantial investment in the purchasing of state of the art surveying equipment, including Total Stations with data collectors and computerized Auto Cad design and drafting stations. This investment began ten years ago and continues today. The personnel operating this equipment are some of the most experienced available.
Through the use of data collectors and the use of computers for note reduction and plotting, CCA's effect hourly rates for survey and design services provides a cost effective solution. At times, the use of the this equipment can double and triple daily output as well as provided improved accuracy.
CCA regularly provides surveying services for Connecticut Department of Transportation (DOT) highway and bridge projects and Connecticut Department of Public Works (DPW) building projects.
CCA has the necessary personnel to provide demanding clients with prompt, quality service required by tight construction schedules.
The Planning and Landscape Architecture Division of CCA provides complete services to federal, state, local and private clients. CCA can provide the following types of planning and landscape architecture services:
CCA's planning and landscape architecture group strives to deliver planning and landscape design solutions that are comprehensive, cost effective, and consistent with strong environmental and social values.
