By providing quality services to area clients and appearing before local agencies as professionals
for fifteen years, CCA has earned a highly regarded reputation for providing complete and professional
plans and documents. CCA's commitment to quality continues today and is evident in products we produce.
CCA has made substantial investments in the purchasing of state of the art computer equipment to assist
in the design and drafting of plans. This computer equipment is linked to our surveying equipment
through a data collector. This process began almost ten years ago and our personnel operating this
equipment are now some of the most experienced available.
CCA's Engineers are familiar with and utilize computerized engineering programs for hydraulic analysis,
hydrology, retaining wall design, cost estimating and other tasks. We have prepared numerous plans for
a variety of projects including simple driveway crossings, major subdivision and road construction,
industrial parks, shopping centers and earth mining operations. Our plans and calculations have been
reviewed and approved by numerous agencies including local wetland commissions, the Connecticut
Department of Environmental Protection, and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers.
CCA's plans and calculations are considered to be state of the art and several local wetland commissions
have used our erosion control plans and reports as models for other engineers.
The Surveying Division of CCA provides complete surveying services to federal, state,
local and private clients. CCA can provide the following types of surveying services:
- Boundary Surveys, Plot Plans
- Topographic Survey Field Run & Aerial
- Anchor Bolt Layout & As-Built
- Highway and Bridge Staking
- Landfill Construction Staking
- Deed Description Writing & Review
- Earth & Rock Quantity Surveys
- Airport Surveys
- Subdivision Plats
CCA made a substantial investment in the purchasing of state of the art surveying equipment,
including Total Stations with data collectors and computerized Auto Cad design and drafting stations.
This investment began ten years ago and continues today. The personnel operating this equipment are
some of the most experienced available.
Through the use of data collectors and the use of computers for note reduction and plotting,
CCA's effect hourly rates for survey and design services provides a cost effective solution.
At times, the use of the this equipment can double and triple daily output as well as provided
improved accuracy.
CCA regularly provides surveying services for Connecticut Department of Transportation
(DOT) highway and bridge projects and Connecticut Department of Public Works (DPW) building projects.
CCA has the necessary personnel to provide demanding clients with prompt, quality service
required by tight construction schedules.
